MAGGI DAWN is Dean of Marquand Chapel, and Professor of Theology and Literature at Yale University,
and is ordained in the Church of England. She has been involved in creating, teaching, and writing about alternative and creative forms of liturgy for three decades, and is looking forward to sharing some thoughts on re-imagining worship and engaging the arts in liturgy.
JONNY BAKER is the director of mission education for the Church Mission Society where the main focus of his work in the last few years has been setting up and leading the Pioneer Mission Leadership Training programme. He is a founder member of Grace, one of the longest running alt.worship/fresh expressions in the UK and is one of the UK’s leading figures in the alternative worship and emerging church scene.
Fr. SIMON RUNDELL is a progressive, radical Anglocatholic Parish iPriest from Plymouth, originally from Seaford and trained at Mirfield. As a Pusher of Pixels & Sacraments and latterly
(self) appointed Apostle to the Twittersphere and author of several works on Creative Mission and Sacraments, Simon will argue that the mission of the Church through sign and symbol, oil, water, body and blood offers great opportunities to reach out to the world in creative and challenging ways.
NICK HAIGH is the vicar of Fernhurst, and a Companion of the Northumbria Community. Prior to this he worked as a professional musician and singer/songwriter with a particular interest in Irish and roots music. He is inspired by the Northumbrian saints such as St. Aidan and St. Cuthbert and will talk about Celtic worship and spiritual practice as part of our liturgy and as a way of bringing the light of the gospel to the nation.
MARTIN POOLE is vicar of St. Luke’s Prestonville in Brighton and the founder of Beyond which creates arts events which seek to explore Christian spirituality. They are the inventors of the Beach Hut Advent Calendar which will be taking place at 5.30pm on the seafront after the conference.
TIM WATSON works in ministry development for the Diocese of Chichester and leads the Chemin Neuf Community Mission in Brighton & Hove. He is a theologian and musician with a passion for liturgy & worship that is inspiring, accessible, and draws on a range of "treasures old and new
