Saturday 2nd December, Brighton
A one day conference for anyone interested in creative forms of worship across a wide variety of traditions
VENUE: St. Patrick's Church, Cambridge Road, Hove, BN3 1DE Curating is a wonderfully different way to think about worship, especially for those involved in leading acts of worship on a regular basis. A curator shapes and oversees in order to help the participants experience something and in the context of worship we hope that the experience will reveal something of God.
At Beyond we call this 'creating opportunities for epiphany' - moments when God breaks in, often in ways that we had not planned. This conference brings together practitioners who reflect the breadth of tradition in the church, each bringing their own understanding and perspective into this mystical process. The day will be ideal for anyone looking for insights into their own liturgical practice or ideas to use in their own context. It is especially tailored for those in training and for clergy who are looking for inspiration to take back to their churches but is open to anyone with an interest in ritual, innovation and re-imagining. |
